These hairpins are fantastic. I have hair that reaches the middle of my back and needed so many traditional bobby pins to do any type of updo. Of course, they NEVER stayed secure because my hair is fine and straight. These are really great because they actually work. My favorite types of buys are practical but innovative. Fills the bill. Will hold long and short hair neatly and securely without all the futzing around. Highly recommend.
Great pins for an updo. I like the fact that the pins have a coat on them that is the color of my hair and not shiny like most pins. I have shoulder length hair and I can only do a french twist because of the length of my hair. I watched a youtube video on the updo and when I tried it at home the pins fell out. Now with the coated pins they stay put and you cannot see them. They also hold the hair much better than any pins I have used in the past and they come in a variety of sizes. I am happy I bought them.
Comfortable, easy to use, great staying power
I'll start off by saying I've never really done updos or used a hair pin before in my life, and I didn't watch any videos, so I don't think I'm using them right. Even with that in mind: I did a simple braid bun this morning (first attempt) and these pins kept it in place through a 9 hour workday, a run, and walking the dogs after work without any pieces falling out. Plus, they were so comfortable, I barely felt them. Definitely will buy again when I inevitably lose a few and would definitely recommend them!
